Alma Kahlos - Grants Coordinator - Asia

Alma Angelika Kahlos joined the Grants team in Front Line Defenders in August 2023. Prior to joining FLD, Alma worked with several organisations focused on defenders, human rights, and non-formal adult education, in the context of Asia and especially in Myanmar (Burma). Alma’s educational background is in human rights and democracy, and she has also been further educated through her involvement in many civil society organisations and movements. In her free time, Alma is volunteering in two solidarity organisations supporting human rights, democracy, peace, and justice in Myanmar.
